Ed Sheeran wins Thinking Out Loud copyright case – BBC News

Ed Sheeran did not copy Marvin Gaye’s Let’s In finding It On when composing Thinking Out Loud, a US courtroom has ruled.

The British singer-songwriter had denied stealing parts of the tune for his 2014 worldwide hit.

Sheeran had acknowledged he would quit his song career if learned responsible on the trial in Fresh York.
