Zimbabwe has asked the European Union to toughen its utter to sell over 150,000 tonnes of ivory that it has gathered as a result of the world ban on the sale of tusks.
Authorities train proceeds from the sale will be broken-the total draw down to earnings local communities residing around wildlife conservancies.
Natural world charities warn the sale of stockpiles could maybe also stimulate the ask for ivory.
The worldwide trade in ivory has been banned since 1989.
