The Myanmar military applied a series of mass killings of civilians in July that resulted in the deaths of not lower than 40 males, primarily based on a BBC investigation.
Eyewitnesses and survivors stated that soldiers, some as younger as 17, rounded up villagers sooner than isolating the males and killing them.
Video footage and photographs from the incidents looks to notify most of these killed had been tortured first and buried in shallow graves.
The killings took achieve in July, in four separate incidents in Kani Township – an opposition stronghold in Sagaing District in Central Myanmar.
